Document management systems (DMS) represent a true alternative to the classical paper archiving. The increase in quality through shortened access times on important information as well as verifiably reduced time and space requirement are strong arguments for the use of such systems.
Only a DMS that is seamlessly integrated into the AMS realises these benefits. Thanks to the low necessary training efforts, a large acceptance by the users is quickly achieved. All documents are digitally collected, indexed and archived. All users in the company benefit directly from the advantages of these functions.
The original documents can then destroyed subsequently.
All documents generated by AMS innately contain a barcode. AMS supports one-dimensional barcodes and two-dimensional QR/data-matrix barcodes. External documents can be furnished with a barcode label. For this AMS triggers available thermal transfer printers. A usually central scanning station executes the subsequent digitalisation. The necessary keywording of those documents is done via a SQL data reconciliation and special protocols to the individual document management systems reaching an unrivalled quality of assignment.
