AMS *OS - Ordering system

The module ordering system organises the materials management and simplifies ordering processes in companies. Other benefits besides the support of the actual ordering process are statistical analyses as well as numerous control functions (quantity, price and dates).

As an optional additional module of AMS the ordering system is a further part of the software concept with the usual consistency of data and usability.

Essential program characteristics are:

a) Master data

  • Suppliers' master data with phone and fax number, person in charge etc.
  • Creation of individual templates for generating orders and requests for proposal

b) Orders / requests

  • Collection of requests for proposal and orders. These can be collected referring to article or supplier
  • Article overview of the past managed orders

  • Overview of open orders per supplier, per article
  • Individual texts in freely available text box
  • Requests for proposal to different suppliers

  • Overview of current orders including the necessary additional information

c) Lists

  • Option to create lists in different program areas e.g. overview of missed deadlines, commissions, component deliveries and open orders

  • Price comparison after collective requests

  • All lists are prepared for the further processing in EXCEL

d) Incoming goods

  • Collection of packing slips

  • Control over order/delivery quantity with arrear management

  • Overview of all open orders, requests, cancellations, offers, price comparisons

Connection to other AMS services

With the help of AMS*shelving system and the connection to mobile data collection devices storages, deliveries and material withdrawals are done directly on-site. Employees responsible for the warehouse can see the storage location of goods. This way transparency of stock is established.
