For a quick processing of your request we use tools that ensure a smooth and efficient information exchange. In case of a problem, prompt help is necessary. For the error analysis, user support and also for the exchange of software we establish a connection with your computer network.
Different VPN products and desktop sharing or remote control software are used.
To specifically support users we use different desktop sharing or remote control software. A few of the most common ones are certainly the product suite by VNC (TightVNC, UltraVNC, RealVNC, etc.), the Microsoft Windows Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) and the eponymous software by the German company Teamviewer GmbH.
Through the software TeamViewer, that is included in the scope of service of AMS, we can access your computer and control it. TeamViewer is a widely spread software and its usage is generally established and accepted. TeamViewer is a good choice for trainings or remote maintenance.
Full access control - TeamViewer is a dialog tool, its usage requires two parties. We arrange an appointment and you have to invite us to a remote maintenance meeting before we can work with the software. Inside AMS the user can start a remote maintenance meeting directly via the help menu.
Another window appears. Via telephone you communicate the displayed six-digit number to our support staff.
Only now the remote maintenance meeting begins.
