Heat treatment and materials engineering encounter us in every area of life. Whether it's energy, mobility, environment, health, safety or communication - heat treatment serves for putting a material into optimal condition for its subsequent requirements. Heat treatment accounts for approx. 20 percent of value added in the metalworking industry. In Germany that's around €10 billion.
AWT - Innovation meets experience and productivity.
For 60 years the AWT has been standing for exchange and knowledge on heat treatment and materials engineering. Primarily the AWT promotes the knowledge transfer and cooperative exchange in research and development. For this matter it initiates its own research projects and sets new standards throughout Europe with professional events.
In 2014 TTC Informatik GmbH applied for membership in the AWT and joined the association. This particularly expresses our connection to the heat treatment sector. Beeing able to work on and/or silently take part in the AWT's excellently manned expert committees further encouraged us to this decision
