AMS*CDM - Consumption data management

Interface to energy management systems

The energy transition is omnipresent. The industry's efforts concerning the energy cost control and the reduction of greenhouse gas emission has gotten a new quality - not only due to the changes around the renewable energy act by the government. Energy intensive companies like the heat and surface treatment sector are confronted with new challenges in the matter of energy efficiency. The bureaucratic effort for necessary management systems and the required valuation is huge.

This is where AMS starts out with the extra module consumption management. Besides the substantial energy parameters other media consumptions, e.g. operating hours can be collected. In a strict sense this extra module is a whole set of interfaces.

In principle TTC decides on the origin of the consumption values and how to transfer these into AMS.

In practice peak load monitoring systems or also energy optimisation systems have established on the market.

The company Dibalog from Heidelberg, Germany (http://www.dibalog.com) provides measurement and control systems for the performance optimisation of industry plants.

In cooperation with Dibalog, TTC Informatik developed a specifically adjusted software component that is able to exchange consumption data between the Dibalog system and AMS. The consumption data measured by Dibalog can be shown in AMS and connected to commercial job and load information.

Your benefits:
You have got all the production relevant data visible in AMS at a glance.

For being able to use the interfaces you need a Dibalog central unit on which the system EAS is run. AMS imports all necessary values like the sensor list and the consumption data from the central unit and stores these compressed in a data base provided for this cause. There they are available for quick processing and analysis.

Process control systems

Another common source for consumption data are process control systems. These take over the collection and following transmission to AMS. These software systems usually responsible for the control and regulation of plants collect consumption data via available channels and sensors and forward them to AMS via the approved TAM interface.

Functional features

  • Allocation of measuring points/consumers to plants in AMS.

  • Automatical import of consumption values from connected Dibalog EOS or process control system by the companies Demig Prozessautomatisierung GmbH or Stange Elektronik GmbH.

  • Analysis of consumptions for plants in a freely selectable period. Distinction between consumption in idle state or when busy possible based on the batches recorded for the plants in AMS.

  • Analysis of the consumptions for individual batches.

  • Analysis of the consumptions for individual programs.

  • When the license for the ERP interface (export of batch-related data) is available the consumption data is exported related to batches and orders for that they can be used by a third-party system for further calculations.
  • The arising analyses and lists support you at the implementation of a certified energy management system according to DIN EN 16001/50001.
